Goal Setting

We’ll begin by assessing your personality type, communication style and core strengths. These results will give us a better understanding of who you are, your core competencies, and how your personality and communication style affects the way you relate to the external environment. We’ll use these as a backdrop for reviewing your career to date - what’s gone well, what hasn’t and why. We’ll then discuss your short, medium and long-term career ambitions, how you would like to define and measure success as well as what type of coaching and development activities will help you achieve them.

Tailored Personal Success Plan

Based on the outcomes of the goal-setting and diagnostic process, we will then co-design a personal success plan to meet your specific needs. In addition to traditional coaching activities regarding behaviours you want to change or cultivate, this plan will also include activities relating to the critical skills you need to build. During this process, we will also identify the key people you will need to support your journey - be it your immediate boss or other sponsors - and the ways to get them on board. The result? A unique, personal success plan with clear targets and milestones.

1-on-1 Coaching Sessions

You can choose to have 1-hour or 30-minute sessions, in person at your own venue or online. For best results, the minimum frequency of these sessions must be once a month. This will give you enough time to undertake your coaching assignments in between sessions so that you get the most out of your coaching plan. You will also be asked to keep a journal to enable you to regularly reflect on your progress and record emerging lessons.

Milestone Reviews

In order to stay on course, it’s important to take regular, in-depth reviews of the progress achieved against the goals set out in your personal success plan. These reviews will take place once a quarter or once every six months and may or may not include getting feedback from your boss or sponsor, depending on your or your employer’s preference. Such reviews will be an opportunity to celebrate what you have achieved so far, tease out what didn’t go well and why, as well as provide feedback on the coaching you have received to date so we can better support you on your journey.
