Sinazo is a speaker, strategist and coach with over 30 years of executive management experience in both the public and private sectors. Her core areas of expertise are strategy development and execution, organisation development and change management.

In local government, she drove the transformation of metropolitan government in Cape Town as a city executive and restructured organised local government across the country as Executive: Strategy and Operations at SALGA. As a Director of Deloitte Southern Africa, she drove various strategic public and private client initiatives, led the Public Sector Industry for the firm, and served on the Consulting Management Team and the Deloitte Executive Committee. At the Development Bank of Southern Africa, as Group Executive: Strategy, Marketing and Communications she, inter alia, led the turn-around strategy for the bank and as Group Executive: Infrastructure Delivery, she turned an R500m pa loss-making Development Fund into a financially sustainable Infrastructure Delivery Division with a turn-over of R3bn pa. As an entrepreneur, she founded SI Global, aimed at scaling social entrepreneurship in Africa, and served as Managing Director: Africa, Canada and Australia at Wyzetalk, a digital employee experience company. In terms of Board experience, Sinazo has inter alia served on the UCT Council, the UCT Graduate School of Business Advisory Board and the Business Women’s Association Johannesburg Advisory Board. She currently serves as Chairperson of Terebinth Capital.

During the course of her career, Sinazo has spoken at numerous national and international conferences. She has also provided expert input into a number of key initiatives including the World Economic Forum’s Africa Strategic Infrastructure Initiative and the African Development Bank’s Africa Economic Outlook 2016. She serves as a guest lecturer at the Gordon Institute of Business Science and has also written various research reports, white papers and thought leadership articles one of which was recently published in the Harvard Business Review.

She has a BA Honours degree in History, a Post-Grad Diploma in HRM, an Executive MBA and is also an accredited Enneagram and Organisational Relationship Systems coach.
